Opalized wood with a boo boo

Opalized wood with a Boo Boo! I place the stone down on my work bench and I heard a nosie, not loud but something. Didn't think much about it until I went to pick the stone and I have two! The setting was complete having just polished it. So I used a Japanese technique to fix it. Ground the two halves to meet and added one bar of brass and one bar of sterling silver. Using another technique call Entarja which uses expoy to put pieces back to gether like pottery using gemstonematerial or metals.
